प्रभुजी मैं कहा करूं इस मन को। सतलोक की बात न माने, सुख चावे इस तन को ।। टेर ।।
सूत बित नार त्याग घर अपणे, दूर दिसांतर जावे। ज्यां त्यां जाय धरे शिर सेवग, दूणो हेत लगावे ।। १ ।।
ज्ञान ग्रन्थ मैं बोहोत सुणाऊं, प्रसंग दिष्टंग सोई। ऊण बेला में मन जे कर ले, वे तो पलटे पल में आई ।। २ ।।
जे मन घेर संत पे जाऊं, ज्ञानज बोहोत सुणावे। गुण सुण लाख शेष दस छाडे, ओगुण एक संभावे ।। ३ ।।
मन कूं घोटर घर में राखूं, राम राम मुख गावे। छिन पल मांही किदर होय भागे, जाय बिसे रस खावे ।। ४ ।।
कह सुखराम सुणो हर दाता, ओ मन मो बस नांही। मैं तो शरण तुमारी आयो, प्रभु साय करो हो गुसांई ।। ५ ।।

Prabhuji main kaha karun is man ko. Satlok ki baat na maane, sukh chaave is tan ko. || Ter ||
Soot bit naar tyaag ghar apne, door disantar jaave.
Jyaan tyaan jaay dhare shir sevag, duno het lagaave. || 1 ||
Gyaan granth main bohot sunaau, prasang dishtang soyi.
Oon bela main man je kar le, ve to palte pal main aayi. || 2 ||
Je man gher sant pe jaaun, gyaanaj bohot sunaave.
Gun sun laakh shesh das chhaade, ogun ek sanbhaave. || 3 ||
Man koon ghotar ghar mein raakhu, Ram Ram mukh gaave.
Chhin pal maahin kidar hoy bhaage, jaay bise ras khaave. || 4 ||
Kah Sukhram suno Har daata, o man mo bas naaahi.
Main to sharan tumari aayo, Prabhu saay karo ho gusayi. || 5 ||
निज मन परमात्मा से प्रार्थना कर रहा है कि, "हे परमात्मा! इस मन का क्या करूं? यह सतलोक की प्राप्ति नहीं चाहता, सिर्फ इस शरीर के सुख चाहता है।लड़का धन, स्त्री और घर छोड़कर दूसरे से मोह करने लग जाता है। वह यहां-वहां जाकर दूसरों से मोह करके उनसे दोगुना प्रेम करता है। मैं उसे प्रसंगों और विभिन्न प्रकार के ज्ञान सुनाता हूं। वह उस समय तो सब स्वीकार करता है, लेकिन पल भर में ही बदल जाता है।मैं मन को समझाकर संतों के पास ले जाता हूं। संत उसे कई तरह का ज्ञान देते हैं, लेकिन वह लाखों-हजारों गुणों को छोड़कर एक ही अवगुण को धारण कर लेता है। मैं मन को समझाकर भजन में लगाता हूं, तो वह एक पल में ही निकल कर विषयों का चिंतन करने लग जाता है।महाराज कहते हैं कि, "आत्मा कह रही है कि यह मन मेरे वश में नहीं है। मैं आपकी शरण में हूं, आप ही मेरी सहायता करो।"
The mind is praying to the Supreme Being, saying, "Oh Supreme Being! What should I do with this mind? It doesn't want to attain the divine realm, it only desires the pleasures of the body. A man leaves his wealth, wife, and home and becomes attached to others. He goes here and there, becoming attached to others and loving them even more. I share stories and various types of knowledge with him, and he accepts it all at the time, but changes his mind in an instant.I try to explain to the mind and take it to the saints. The saints impart various types of knowledge to it, but it rejects the countless good qualities and adopts a single flaw. I try to engage the mind in devotion, but it slips away in an instant and starts thinking about worldly objects.
Maharaj says, "The soul is saying that this mind is not under my control. I am at your mercy, please help me." The soul is surrendering to the Supreme Being, seeking refuge and assistance in controlling the mind. The soul is acknowledging its inability to control the mind and is seeking the Supreme Being's intervention to guide it towards the right path.
