संतो ओ जुग बडो अज्ञानी। असत बस्त कूं सत बतावे, सत असत कर मानी ॥ टेर ॥
स्पर्श चीज धरम की पेडी, ताकूं करम ठहरावे। ॥ १ ॥
अमल तमाखू मूल पाप को, वो सबके मन भावे साध जका कूं कह भक्तिया,
करमी कूं कहे मोटा। आनदेव कूं लुल लुल पूजे, महाप्रसाद कूं खोटा ॥ २ ॥
कन्या असल धरम को कुपो, सो जलमिया होय कारो। पुत्र जलमिया थाल बजावे, सो करमा को भारो ॥ ३ ॥
खट करम ऊठ करे नित कोई, जाकूं जोर सरावे। कह सुखराम तत्त का भेदी, तांकी निंदा गावे ॥ ४ ॥
संतों से महाराज फरमाते हैं कि संसार बड़ा अज्ञानी है, माया असत है, फिर भी उसे सत बताते हैं। परमात्मा का नाम सत है, लेकिन उसकी भक्ति नहीं करते। यही असत को सत्य बताना है। शास्त्रों के अनुसार, सृष्टि की उत्पत्ति धर्म है, लेकिन उसे कर्म बताते हैं।
अमल तमाखू, जो पाप का मूल है, उसका सेवन सभी करते हैं और यह सभी को अच्छा लगता है। सतशब्द की भक्ति करने वाले साधकों को साधारण भक्त समझते हैं, जबकि जो कर्मकांड करते हैं, उन्हें बड़ा मानते हैं। आन देव, जो माया का स्वरूप है, उसकी झुककर पूजा करते हैं, लेकिन परमात्मा के निज नाम, जो महाप्रसाद है, उसे धारण नहीं करते।
कन्या के निमित्त जो खर्च किया जाता है, उसे पुण्य मानते हैं, लेकिन उसके जन्म होने पर बड़ा दुख मानते हैं। पुत्र के होने पर खुशी मनाते हैं, जिसके लिए कर्म बंधन करके धन इकट्ठा करना पड़ता है। यही कर्मों का भार है। गलत कर्म हमेशा करते हैं और उनकी सराहना करते हैं। महाराज फरमाते हैं कि जो ब्रह्म प्राप्ति का भेद जानते हैं, उनकी निंदा करते हैं।
Harajas Pad Raag Sorath (४)
santo o jug baḍo ajñaanii. asat bast kuun sat bataave, sat asat kar maanii ॥ ṭer ॥
sparsh chiij dharam kii peḍii, taakuun karam ṭhaharaave. ॥ १ ॥
amal tamaakhuu muul paap ko, vo sabake man bhaave saadh jakaa kuun kah bhaktiyaa,
karamii kuun kahe moṭaa. aanadev kuun lul lul puuje, mahaaprasaad kuun khoṭaa ॥ २ ॥
kanyaa asal dharam ko kupo, so jalamiyaa hoy kaaro. putr jalamiyaa thaal bajaave, so karamaa ko bhaaro ॥ ३ ॥
khaṭ karam uuṭh kare nit koii, jaakuun jor saraave. kah sukharaam tatt kaa bhedii, taankii nindaa gaave ॥ ४ ॥
Advising saints, maharaj ji stated that this world is clueless to the fact that materialistic achievements are an illusion. Engaging in surgun bhakti deprives them from true and omniscient sat shabad bhakti which is the only way to attain moksha. Raising a family is a contribution towards creation of the world and not karma. Consumption of opium, tobacco, alcohol and other narcotic substances is liked by many. Ignorants defy sat shabad bhakti and give more significance to karam kand and other modes of surgun bhakti. They prostrate before the idols of gods/deities and consider the sat shabad bhakti a low grade. Half-witted persons feel grieved if a girl child is born in their family and burst with pride to give dowry during her wedding. If boy child is borne, it’s an auspicious occasion and they celebrate it by beating drums. To meet the demands of their son they adopt unethical means to earn more and more money thereby accrue more karmas. They consistently engage in karam kand and hail surgun bhakti. Maharaj ji revealed that such half witted persons condemn those who are engaged in sat shabad bhakti.
