पांडे समज्या यूं तत्त धारे। पाहण सेवे, जड है माया, ताकूं दूर बिडारे ॥ टेर ॥
एक नार की नकल बणाई, एक असल सो आवे। अण समझ के दोनो सरभर, समज्या सागे चावे ॥ १ ॥
कुवे की एक नकल बणाई, एक असल सो किया। पिणीयारयां की भीड कीसे पर, प्यासे कहां चित दिया ॥ २ ॥
गाबा गाल बणायो ओदर, एक मास नव जावे। कह सुखराम ख्याल है वांको, दुजी पुत्र खिलावे ॥ ३ ॥
पंडित से महाराज फरमाते हैं कि परमात्मा के निज नाम को समझकर धारण करो। पत्थर जड़ है, उसकी पूजा करते समय वह माया है, जो समझे हुए हैं, वे नहीं करते। एक स्त्री की नकल बनाते हैं, एक असल स्त्री होती है। अज्ञानी के लिए दोनों बराबर हैं, पर समझदार असली को चाहता है। एक कुएं की नकल बनाते हैं और एक असली कुआं है। पर प्यासे और पनिहारों की भीड़ असली कुएं पर जाएगी, नकली कुएं पर नहीं। एक पेट पर कपड़ा बांधकर पेट को बढ़ा लेती है, एक के नौ महीने में जन्मता है। महाराज फरमाते हैं कि कपड़ों से पेट बढ़ाने वाले के संतान नहीं होती और दूसरी नौ महीने बाद पुत्र खिलाती है।
Harajas Pad Raag Sorath (६)
paanḍe samajyaa yuun tatt dhaare. paahaṇ seve, jaḍ hai maayaa, taakuun duur biḍaare ॥ ṭer ॥
ek naar kii nakal baṇaaii, ek asal so aave. aṇ samajh ke dono sarabhar, samajyaa saage chaave ॥ १ ॥
kuve kii ek nakal baṇaaii, ek asal so kiyaa. piṇiiyaarayaan kii bhiiḍ kiise par, pyaase kahaan chit diyaa ॥ २ ॥
gaabaa gaal baṇaayo odar, ek maas nav jaave. kah sukharaam khyaal hai vaanko, dujii putr khilaave ॥ ३ ॥
Maharaj ji advised Pandits to use intellect, engage in sat shabd bhakti and discard the worship of idols made from stones known as maya bhakti. The intellectuals understand the difference between surgun [ maya bhakti] and sat shabd bhakti [ kevalya bhakti]. Awakening the ignorants maharaj ji stated that such half witted persons are unable to distinguish between female idols and real females as both look the same to them. Ignorants are unable to differentiate between real well and artificial well. Maharaj ji expressed that a lady with an empty vessel on her head and a thirsty person will head to real well to quench their thirst.citing another worldly example maharaj ji said that one lady wraps cloth around her belly pretending to be pregnant cannot deliver a child while another lady truly pregnant delivers baby after nine months. Thus surgun bhakti cannot liberate the soul from cycle of death and rebirth while sat shabd bhakt only is capable of liberating you from vicious kaal cycle.
