आज भलाई दिन ऊगीयो, म्हारा सतगुरु मिलिया आय हो महाराज ॥ टेर ॥
आंणद ऊछाव बधावणा, सामा मिलसां जाय महाराज।
केसर लूंग इलायची, बहोत चडाऊं जाय महाराज ॥ १ ॥
ढोल बजावत गावता, लेसां बधाय बधाय महाराज।
प्रदिक्षणा प्रणाम सूं, लुललुल लागू पांय महाराज ॥ २ ॥
अगर चन्दन सो कुम कुमा, मिंदर ढुलाऊंली आय महाराज।
फूल मंगाऊली जाफना, सेज बिछाऊंली आय महाराज ॥ ३ ॥
भोजन बोहो प्रकार का, लेसूं इधक बणाय महाराज।
सतगुरु जीमें आंगणे, पंखा ढुलाऊं बाव महाराज ॥ ४॥
ज्ञान कथे बांणी करे, करसी अरथ अनेक महाराज।
कह सुखदेवजी भरम भानसी, नाना विध का जाण महाराज ॥ ५ ॥
आज का दिन श्रेष्ठ है — सतगुरु दर्शन का उत्सव
आज श्रेष्ठ दिन उगा है, क्योंकि सतगुरु के दर्शन हुए हैं।आनन्द और उल्लास के साथ हम उनके सामने जाकर दर्शन करेंगे। केसर, लूंग, और ईलायची ले जाकर हम उन्हें भेंट करेंगे।ढोल बजाते, गाते, उन्हें बधाकर और उत्सवपूर्वक हम अपने घर लेकर आएंगे।प्रदक्षिणा करके, प्रणाम करके, हम उनके चरणों में गिरेंगे।अगर, चन्दन, और कुमकुम से हम मकान को सजाएँगे, सुगंधित फूल मंगवाकर उनकी सेज बिछाएँगे।अनेक प्रकार के स्वादिष्ट भोजन बनाकर उन्हें मेरे घर में भोजन कराएँगे, और पंखा ढुलाएँगे।वे ज्ञान की कथा कहेंगे, बाणी का उपदेश देंगे, और वाणी के निरपक्ष निरणे की महिमा समझाएँगे।वे अनेक प्रकार से हमारे भरमों (भ्रमों) को मिटाएँगे।महाराज फरमाते हैं:
"सतगुरु इसी तरह अपने अणभै ज्ञान से हमारे अज्ञान, भरम और कष्टों का नाश करते हैं।"
Today is the Supreme Day — The Celebration of Satguru’s Darshan
Today a magnificent day has dawned, for we have been blessed with the darshan of the Satguru. With hearts full of joy and enthusiasm, we shall go before him to seek his sight. Carrying offerings of saffron, cloves, and cardamom, we shall present them to him in reverence.
To the beating of drums and the singing of hymns, we will welcome him and bring him to our home with great festivity. Performing circumambulation (Pradakshina) and bowing low, we will surrender ourselves at his holy feet.
We shall decorate our home with Agar (aloeswood), sandalwood, and Kumkum (vermillion), and arrange a bed of fragrant flowers for him. Preparing a variety of delicious sanctified foods, we will serve him in our home and fan him with devotion.
He will narrate the discourses of wisdom, impart the teachings of the holy Baani (sacred word), and explain the glory of the impartial discernment of Truth. In countless ways, he will dispel our doubts and delusions.
Maharaj declares: > "In this very way, the Satguru destroys our ignorance, delusions, and sufferings through his Anbhai (experiential and fearless) divine knowledge."
