Vish bin laher bhaang bin piya, praan gigan dish jaay. || 1 || Bin shamsher teer bin barchhi, man bindhano aay. Dar bin daru birah bina birah, bohot oopajyo maay. || 2 || Main bin paani buva jaaun, je koi kaade aay. Kah Sukhdev Guru so mera, charna rahun laptaay. || 3 || ऐसा कोई आकर मेरा दुख मिटाए, मुझे परमात्मा मिलने की उत्कंठा है, उसे मिटाए, वो मेरे गुरु हैं, मैं उनका शिष्य हूँ। बिना ही अग्नि यानी विरह से शरीर जल रहा है, बिना ही ठंड शरीर काँप रहा है, बिना विष व भांग पिए ही लहरें आ रही हैं, प्राण गगन की तरफ जा रहे हैं। परमपद की प्राप्ति की प्रबल इच्छा मन में होना ही बिना तीर, तलवार व बरछी के मन बींधना है। बिना ही विरह के, बिना ही डर के मैं बहुत डर रहा हूँ कि मैं वापस चौरासी में न आ जाऊँ। बिना ही पानी के भवसागर में आना-जाना ही बह रहा है। इससे मुझे कोई निकाले, वो मेरे गुरु हैं, मैं उनकी शरण हूँ। Maharaj ji is seeking shelter of a guru capable of relieving him from three taaps i.e. ailments namely adhi[ mental], vyadhi[physical], upadhi[ emotional] and liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth. That by the grace of guru i experience craving like fire and shivering like cold by virtue of the technique advised by him. That he is swaying without consuming alcohol or marijuana and his pranas i.e. divine energy in the form of sat shabd rising to brahmand. Without the fear of sword, arrows and spear the straying mann is under control and emotions for Parmatma should not weaken and I am afraid of staying confined to the cycle of death and rebirth. Since ages I have been engrossed with five vishay[illusions] staying trapped in the kaal cycle enduring enormous miseries. Therefore maharaj ji asserted that one who liberates him from the vicious cycle of death and rebirth is his true Satguru.
