बंदा कहा कियो नर होई। शिरजण हार श्याम तूं बिसरयो, चाल्यो जन्म बिगोई ॥ टेर ॥
नर नारी यो जगत रिजायो, कर कर सेणय सिपती। आनदेव कूं निव निव पूजे, राम न सिमरयो विपती ॥ १ ॥
जाग्यो रात करम के कारण, जूंझयो माया काजे। स्वारथ कूं नर बुरी पलोटे, परमारथ सूं लाजे ॥ २ ॥
किया अंध फंद बोहो तेरा, सिख्यो चुप चतुराई। एक न सिख्यो राम रहीम को, जिण या मांड ऊपाई ॥ ३ ॥
हरजन ज्ञान कोरडा मारे, तब उत्तर बोहो ल्यावे। कह सुखराम भूत ज्यों मनवो, डाला पान बतावे ॥ ४ ॥

Bandaa kaha kiyo nar hoi.
Shirjan haar Shyam toon bisaryo, chaalyo janm bigoi. || Ter ||
Nar naari yo jagat rijaayo, kar kar senay sipti.
Aandev koon niv niv pooje, Ram na simaryo vipti. || 1 ||**
Jaagyo raat karam ke kaaran, joonjhyo maya kaaje.
Swarth koon nar buri palote, parmarath soon laaje. || 2 ||**
Kiya andh fand boho tera, sikhyo chup chaturai.
Ek na sikhyo Ram rahim ko, jin ya maand oopai. || 3 ||**
Harjan gyaan koraada maare, tab uttar boho lyaave.
Kah Sukhram bhoot jyon manvo, daala paan bataave. || 4 ||**
महाराज फरमाते हैं कि तुमने मनुष्य होकर क्या किया? सृष्टि के कर्ता परमात्मा की भक्ति को भूलकर तुमने मनुष्य जीवन को व्यर्थ में ही गवा दिया। समझदारी से उनका हितैषी बनकर स्त्री-पुरुष और संसार को खुश किया। जो दृश्य हैं, जो इंद्रियों से अनुभव होते हैं, उनकी ही भक्ति करता है।
हे दुखियारे, तुमने रामजी की भक्ति नहीं की। कर्म करने के लिए और माया के पीछे दौड़ने के लिए रात-रात भर जागते हो। कितने ही अच्छे-बुरे कर्म किए, कितनी ही होशियारी दिखाई, पर सृष्टि के रचयिता परमात्मा की भक्ति नहीं की।
परमात्मा के हरिजन सत ज्ञान रूपी कोरडा मारते हैं, तब अनेक तरह की बातें बनाते हैं। महाराज फरमाते हैं कि मन रूपी भूत भी अनेक तरह के बहाने करता है।
The Maharaj tells humans, "What have you done as a human? Forgetting the devotion to the Creator, the Supreme Being, you have wasted your human life. You have pleased men, women, and the world by acting wisely and being their well-wisher. You worship only those things that are visible and can be experienced through the senses.
O unfortunate one, you have not worshipped Ram. You stay awake night after night to work and chase after Maya (illusion). You have done good and bad deeds, shown cleverness, but you have not worshipped the Creator of the universe.
The devotees of the Supreme Being strike the stone of true knowledge, and to it also, various ideas given. The Maharaj says that the mind, which acts like a ghost, also makes many excuses."
