मन रे गाफल चेत सवेरो। ज्यांहा चाले लो त्याहां करम न लागे, काल न घाले घेरो ॥ टेर ॥
जे लागी तो चेत सभाग्या, सोयर क्यूं नर हारे। अमर पुरूष मुगत को दाता, वाकूं काय बिसारे ॥ १ ॥
जे सूता सो खरा बिगुता, जम के हाथ बिकाया। चवदे तीनूं लोक बिचाले, काल बिण सब खाया ॥ २ ॥
क्यूं चित्त सोय रहयो ईण जुग में, ज्यांहा दो जख नित दीजे। कह सुखराम समझ मन मेरा, भलो आपको कीजे ॥ ३ ॥

Man re gafal chet savero.
Jyanha chaale lo tyanha karam na laage, kaal na ghaale ghero. || Ter ||
Je laagi to chet sabhaagya, soyar kyun nar haare.
Amar purush mugat ko daata, vaakun kaay bisare. || 1 ||**
Je soota so khara biguta, jam ke haath bikaya.
Chavde teenoo lok bichaale, kaal bin sab khaaya. || 2 ||**
Kyun chitt soy rahyo een jug mein, jyanha do jakh nit dije.
Kah Sukhram samajh man mera, bhalo aapko keeje. || 3 ||**
महाराज फरमाते हैं कि हे मन, "तू गाफिल क्यों हो रहा है? तेरे मनुष्य जन्म रूपी दिन का उदय हुआ है। चेत जा और उस स्थान की ओर चल, जहाँ कर्म का बंधन नहीं पड़ता और जहाँ काल भी नहीं पहुँचता।
अच्छे भाग्य से तुझे ज्ञान प्राप्त हो गया है, फिर भी अज्ञानता में मनुष्य जन्म को व्यर्थ क्यों गवा रहा है? अमर पुरुष पारब्रहम परमात्मा, जो मोक्ष देने वाले हैं, उन्हें तू क्यों भूल रहा है?
जो लोग अज्ञानता की अवस्था में हैं, उनकी स्थिति बहुत खराब होगी। उन्हें जन्म और मरण के चक्र में आना पड़ेगा। तीन लोकों और चौदह भवनों तक काल उन्हें सोद-सोद कर खा जाएगा।
हे चित, इस जगत में तू अज्ञानता की अवस्था क्यों धारण कर रहा है? जिसके कारण तुझे नरक का दुख भोगना पड़ेगा। महाराज फरमाते हैं कि, "हे मन, समझ कर अपना भला कर।"
The mind is being told, "Why are you being negligent? The day of your human birth has dawned. Awaken and move towards that place where the bondage of actions does not apply and where time cannot reach.
By good fortune, you have obtained knowledge, yet why are you wasting your human birth in ignorance? Why are you forgetting the immortal Being, the Supreme Spirit, who is the bestower of liberation?
Those who are in a state of ignorance will have a very poor condition. They will have to fall into the cycle of birth and death. Time will consume them bit by bit, from the three worlds to the fourteen realms.
O conscience, why are you clinging to a state of ignorance in this world? Because of this, you will have to suffer the torments of hell. The Maharaj says, 'O mind, understand and do what is good for yourself.'"
