नांव नकेवल कोय, संभावे आय के। तां पर या शमसेर गहे है जाय के ।। १ ।।
ब्रह्मा विष्णु महेश, शक्त बोलावसी। धरमराय की फोज, उमंग शिर आवसी ।। २ ।।
अठ सीध नव नव नीध जोय, जांण में घेरसी। ओ सब गुंथे डाव आप दिश फेरसी ।। ३ ।।
या पांचु की मेहेर, कहर सम जाणिये। सतगुरु के बिन ज्ञान छाड सब ठानिये ।। ४ ।।
सुख दुख दोनो जीत, रटे निज नांव कूं। सो पूंचे सुखराम ब्रह्म के गांव कूं।।५।।
Harjas Pad Raag Mangal (1)
Naav nakeval koy, sambhaave aay ke. Taan par ya shamsher gahe hai jaay ke. || 1 ||
Brahma Vishnu Mahesh, Shakt bolavsi.
Dharmaray ki fauj, umang shir aavsi. || 2 ||
Ath seedh nav nav needh joy, jaan mein ghersi.
O sab gunthe daav aap dish fersi. || 3 ||
Ya paanchu ki meher, kahar sam jaaniye.
Satguru ke bin gyaan chhaad sab thaaniye. || 4 ||
Sukh dukh dono jeet, rate nij naav koon.
So poonche Sukhram Brahm ke gaanv koon. || 5 ||
मंगल किसका है? आत्मा का। आत्मा का मंगल कब होगा? जब जन्म-मरण से बरी होगी, यही मंगल है। इसके लिए ब्रह्म का नाम राम संतों की विधि से रटता है, तो उसके ऊपर कई बाधाएं आती हैं।
इस शरीर के अंदर ब्रह्मा जी का रजो गुण, विष्णु का सतोगुण, महेश का तमोगुण, शक्ति की इच्छा शक्ति तथा मन रूपी धर्मराज की फौज काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, और अहंकार, ये सब खड़े हो जाते हैं। विधाता ने राम राम रटने वालों के लिए तीन लोक में कई सुविधाएं कर रखी हैं। अष्ठ सिद्ध और नव निधि आकर के खड़ी होती हैं और संतो से कहती हैं, "हम आपके लिए हाजिर हैं।" कई सुखों के चैन दिखाकर साधक को अपनी ओर मोड़ती हैं।
इसलिए उपरोक्त पांचों की मेहर, कृपा को मंगल करने में बाधा समझो। इसीलिए अब तुझे मंगल ही करना है। तो अणभै ज्ञान के हिसाब से ही चलना है। संसार में रहते हुए सुख और दुख को बराबर समझते हुए राम नाम की रटन करते रहो। इस तरह से भक्ति करने वाली आत्मा केवल पद में पहुंचती है। यही आत्मा का मंगल है।
Whose is the auspiciousness (mangal)? Of the soul. When will the soul be auspicious? When it is free from birth and death, that is the auspiciousness. To attain this, one chants the name of Brahma as 'Ram' following the method of saints, but many obstacles arise.
Within this body, there is Brahma's Rajoguna, Vishnu's Satoguna, Mahesh's Tamoguna, Shakti's desire power, and the army of the mind-like Dharmaraj, consisting of lust, anger, greed, attachment, and ego. These all stand up. The Creator has arranged many facilities in the three worlds for those who chant 'Ram Ram'. The eight siddhis and nine nidhis arrive and tell the saints, "We are ready for you." They try to divert the seeker by showing many pleasures.
Therefore, consider the grace and favor of the above five as obstacles to attaining auspiciousness. That's why now you have to do auspiciousness yourself. So you have to walk according to the knowledge of Anabhai. While living in the world, understand happiness and sorrow as equal and keep chanting the name of Ram. By doing bhakti in this way, the soul reaches only the पद (pad, a spiritual state). This is the auspiciousness of the soul.
